Dim blue light colour reduces the activities and improves the performance of Indian River broilers under Egyptian conditions

Poultry producers accustomed to use light colours in broiler production as atrial increase their productivity, especially the developing countries cover animal protein gap. This experiment was planned study effect of different blue colour intensities (high, medium and dim) on a recently imported Indian River (IR) broilers Egypt. In this study, 270 one-day old chicks were used. The birds exposed high intensity (HBLI), (MBLI) dim (DBLI), through monochromatic lighting system that installed rooms for 24 hours daily. randomly divided housed into three well controlled pens 5.46 m2 with replicates 30 each using density 17 birds/m2 room. results showed reared under DBLI had significantly (p< 0.05) higher body weight, weight gain, Newcastle disease virus antibody titer foot pad dermatitis obviously, economic Feed conversion ratio (FCR) low activities heterophyil/lymphocyte comparing (HBLI). conclusion, poultry producer can farms reduce productivity birds.
